The mission of The Schenectady Foundation is to advance the sustainable well-being of the people of Schenectady County. It is the only community foundation exclusively serving Schenectady County. By developing a major endowment for our community, the Foundation is able to make significant grants that truly have an impact on our health and well-being. Over time, the Foundation has supported more than 180 community organizations and has provided a strong base of support for charitable projects both large and small, including the productions of these student-produced PSAs in the Schenectady School District.
Links to the student-produced PSAs will be available to teachers, administrators and parents of participating students following the June 2018 premiere.
Big Shoes: A Young Widowed Mother's Memoir is not just a story of death and loss, it is about prevailing and finding true happiness, not in spite of what happens to us but because of what happens to us.
All profits from the sale of Big Shoes benefit The DON'T WAIT Project®.
